Peter McGlashan
Peter is our first Cricketer on board but, in a sport where fluid replacement is critical for concentration and physical performance, he certainly is not the only cricketer using our products.
Peter has represented the Black Caps in the Twenty 20 format and is regarded as one of the most exciting Limited Overs wicketkeeper-batsman around. His sister, Sara, also plays cricket for New Zealand and has played over 70 One Day Internationals.
Peter has been using Leppin products for several years playing professional cricket 12 months of the year, in New Zealand for the Northern Knights and in the UK for Bath Cricket Club. This year-round endless summer means he is a big fan of the Enduro Booster and Squeezy products, using them to replace lost electrolytes and fluids during the many hours spent out in the field doing battle.
When you spend hours in the sun, for days at a time, fluid replacement is vital for peak performance. The squeezys are great, I get them brought out at a drinks break or wicket fall and they help keep me going right til the last ball is bowled .
He also uses the Endurance Athlete product to maintain the muscle and strength built up during the off-season.
He says the blend of Protein and Carbs is great after a workout or day in the field. With the touch of Creatine helping my recovery, EA saves me worrying about forcing food down post-exercise. Ive got everything I need with me in a shake .
