Sheridan Vining

Sheridan is a New Zealand champion in the sport of Long Drive. He first started competing in 2004 and represented NZ at the World Championship Tournament in Mesquite, Nevada in 2005 with an outstanding 370 yard drive.

In 2008 he subsequently beat the field to become NZ’s longest hitter and represented NZ again at the World Long Drive Champs at the brand new purpose built range in Mesquite, Nevada.  Sheridan hit a personal best of 397 yards which made him Australasia’s longest hitter at the event.

During his long drive career Sheridan has also competed in numerous Trans Tasman Test matches. He was also a member of the 3 man winning team that defeated Sweden, Japan and Australia in a quadrangular that was held at the Chalet in Taupo.

Sheridan is also heavily involved in Corporate Golf Day events raising funds for numerous charities such as Cure Kids, Westpac Trust Helicopter and may others.

To maximize distance and to help create 140+ MPH club head speeds, Sheridan uses the Muscle Pro-4 and HMB. On game days he loads up on the ever trusty Leppin Squeeze to provide that extra boost.
