Aaron Strong

Aaron started cycling in 2001 after dabbling in athletics for almost a decade, in particular Mountain Running, where he finished 4th in the 1997 World Champs.  Immediately he took a liking to climbing hills, and has spent the last few years riding with the best in New Zealand.

Aaron competed in the International Tour of Tahiti in 2004, winning the 8 day stage race on the final stage, a 17k Time Trial. As hoped Aaron made the most of the three hilltop finishes, winning two of those stages.

Now Aaron is passing on his knowledge to others in cycling, running and triathlon, coaching athletes of all abilities with Kinetic Edge, a coaching company.  (www.kecycling.com)
